Our Team
The ActioN Study is led by Dr. Tulin Cil and Dr. Funmilola Wuraola
Our team boasts a dynamic and diverse partnership of oncology leaders from West Africa and North America with experience in practice-changing oncology research. Our core group of allied health professionals includes surgical oncologists, geneticists, and education experts bolstered by research staff in both countries. We have already integrated our ongoing work into the African Research Group for Oncology (ARGO), a network of 26 academic centers in Nigeria and North America. Leveraging this network will ensure the future scalability of this study, solidifying our commitment to addressing global inequities and advancing breast cancer research.
